Jut wondering what is my incentive i was already to go to school only to find out they are making it a Doctorate program, but there is no extra pay for such a title, what is my incentive, I have to spend more money for school, another year that its going to make it hard for me to work but no more money????

You may want to think of a different career direction then. If you don't have the motivation to be a CRNA you won't make it through school. A good living won't be enough motivation. If the change to a doctorate puts you off this much then you probably don't want to be a CRNA badly enough.

Tough room. Maybe the poster is questioning why to go to a DNP over a MSN program. That's how I read it anyway.

No difference in compensation for a DNP. If you want to work at a hospital that is part of a CRNA training program, then you may want to look at DNP. Also it may be important to you if you want to teach or become a program director in the future.

No it's not all about the money but the majority of people wouldn't do it if there wasn't a pay raise.
