Baylor & UT Houston CRNA 2018

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey! I did not see a thread for nurses applying to Baylor's CRNA program for 2018 so I decided to start one.I am applying to Baylor and UTHSC - Houston for classes starting in 2018. I have been watching these blogs for three years now, and I cannot believe I am ready to apply. I think my stats are average and am hoping to snag an interview. I taught high school for 8 years and have a MA in Math Education. 2nd career nurse! I am on here everyday. Hopefully some of us will be classmates in the future.

GPA: 3.4

GRE: 297 (yep taking this again before applications are due)

CVICU: 1 year 6 months to date (I will have 2 years when I submit my application)

good luck to all!!!

Hey all! Just got an offer to interview with Baylor on August 26! E-mail came in at 11:09 AM (CDT) today! Good luck!

Congrats to everyone interviewing. Also will be there Aug 26th. Anyone know how many interviewing?

TXCVICURN- Not sure, but I think I read on past year's forums that approx. 80 are interviewed.

Yay!!! Finally heard back from Baylor at 11:08 am today. I got an interview on August 25th! Check your emails, guys! So excited, yet so nervous!!

I also received an email today from Baylor for an interview for Friday August 25! Good luck to everyone!

I, as well, received an invitation to interview on the 26th! Anyone received notification from UT? Thanks!

I did not get an interview to Baylor. Judging by the fact that my stats are higher than a few who got interviews, I'm guessing Texas (and maybe all states) show preference to in-state applicants. :( ahhh well.

MPH2017- Nothing from UT yet. Hoping for this week!

Nurserobinson281988- So sorry to hear that.:( Best of luck on the rest of your applications!

Just got my email invitation for UT!!!! I will be interviewing September 26!!! See you guys there!

Just got the e-mail from UT Health! I will be interviewing on September 27! Good luck!

Good Luck Guys! I interviewed at both Baylor & UT last year. Currently in UT's program. Make sure to study up on CCRN, especially for Baylor's Interview.
