I have ten years of ICU experience, in CT/CCU in a large teaching institution. I have worked in a pediatric cath lab the last year. I am now considering CRNA school. My question is, do I need to go back to the ICU prior to applying? Thanks!

from what i have been reading on admission info at a bunch of schools I would say yes. but most of them do say that if you do not have 'recent' experience that they consider on a case by case basis. I would call a couple of schools you are interested in and see what they say...

I would think they should consider your ICU experience "recent". Like the other poster stated, it may be a good idea to call your schools and ask. Nothing worse than waiting another year if you don't need too.
