Job/Salary outlook for FNP in Denver?

  1. I would like to go back to school for my FNP (my preference would be OB/GYN but I want to be as marketable as possible). The idea of the school workload, cost, etc is of course a little scary, but my biggest concern is that I won't be able to find a decent job in the Denver area or that the salary wouldn't be much more to outweigh the cost of loans, etc. I have heard that the market is tight right now for both RNs and Advanced Practice Nurses. Can anyone give some insight as to what they have been experiencing in the job market? Easy or hard to find decent jobs? Salaries starting at 50k, 60k, 70k? Where are you finding good jobs at and what will you be doing?
