Failed the AANP and ANCC

Nursing Students NP Students

Hello everyone

So I took the AANP in March 2011 after taking the Fitz course, and failed (personally I didn't think I was ready), but I thought I would try. Then I purchased the Barkley Assoc CD and Home Course and studied better from his work. So in Aug, 2011, I took the ANCC and it was FULL of ethical, cultural, and Standard of Nursing questions, all of which I didn't study; hence I failed again. I'm sooo sad and ready to give up. But I worked so hard. I have two small children and really need to pass. I'm losing hope...Did anyone else fail more than once? Is there hope? Any help is good help. Thank you!!!

Just thought I would tell everyone that I go this Wednesday (08/29/12) to take the ancc exam. I would like to ask for prayer. I know the lord can move in this. My family really needs it. I will post back with the results. Thanks in advance, for any prayers said on my behalf. Looking forward to some good news!

I will be praying for you. When you take the test ask God to help you. Don't be afraid to talk to God while you take the test. God bless

Good luck! You will do great!!!

I will be waiting on the good news! God bless!

Well... 344 out of 350. Talk about a disappointment. So disgusted! So close and now I have to wait two months to retest. Words can not describe how I am feeling! More research material than anything else. On a good note.... I will pass it the next time!

Aslingtl,

You were so close:mad:! Keep pushing and you will do it! Don't give up what ever you do!I am praying for you! God Bless!

Missed by 6 points :bluecry1: I am so sorry sweetie! Good grief. Hum.. well as you said you will get it next time. I imagine that is a hard test. No way to really study for it and it ask things that are not specific to patient care. But you have two months to keep preparing. I wish it would have ended today for you. I really do. But everything is happening for a reason. Its hard to see what that reason is in a time like this. But there has to be some reason it is working out like this right now. One of the first things we learn to do as babies is to hold our heads up, so you keep holding your head up high. All of this is gonna make you that much better of an NP when you get out there. You will know clinical and policy stuff like the back of your hand real soon. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you sweetheart.

Great advice Tinabeanrn !

So I missed it by one or two questions. :/
