Hello! I want to go to CSULB PMHNP. I just got my RN license, and I was thinking of applying in a year. For anyone who is applying can you give me some background on how to be a successful candidate for their program?

A successful candidate in any NP track will have strong GPA & GRE (if applicable), a solid resume, recommendations, and great essay(s).
Anything specific to CSULB is best directed to the program's staff. One of the best recommendations is to reach out to the program's director for an interview (treat it like a job interview) and there you can ask questions including what kind of candidates they look for. Also, apply to more than one program if at all possible.
