BSN to FNP online programs: are there many that don't require 2 years RN experience?

I recently graduated with a BSN. Although I have over a decade of Chiropractic experience, I do not have nursing experience. Do most online NP programs require two years nursing experience prior to acceptance?

A lot of MSN programs are becoming more competitive and are requiring a minimum of 2 years experience as an RN prior to program enrollment. However, check into Chamberlain College of Nursing. I have been checking around as well. Good luck!

Chamberlain does not require 2 years. Neither does University of Arizona (but its a DNP program).

Yes, Chamberlain is "for profit" but it's honestly not much more than State Universities, especially when looking into graduate school. Chamberlain's Maters FNP was like 30K I think, University of Arizona's DNP is like 80K.

There are several schools that require little or no experience. You just have to hunt to find them. Also, some that do require experience are willing to take other medical experience. They may require you to write a letter explaining why you feel you have sufficient experience or how your experience applies. Good luck!

I would feel so uncomfortable going to a school that's traded on the NY stock market...I mean come on. Avoid the for profits people.

I did my BSN at Chamberlain and was very happy. I'm now in an NP program at a great university. I don't see the harm in chamberlain if it works for somebody.
