I am starting this new thread for those of us who have applied to Hunter College PMHNP Program for fall 2026. Let's keep each other motivated and updated as we await application decision. Let's also share any relevant information.

I am applying OMTA for PNP-PC. 

Can anyone tell me the different units we need to get for clinicals? OB/GYN and primary care I'd imagine at the least?

Also, what do past graduates recommend for studying in preparation for the boards? As nurses we got a lot of recommendations, what about as WHNPs for the licensure exam? Thank you!!

I'm creating this discussion in hopes to meet some of the UCI DNP-FNP Fall 2026 applicants. I received my acceptance a few weeks ago, and I hope that we can have this forum for questions, updates, and/or general discussions for the upcoming semester.

For students who are currently in the program, any suggestions for future and upcoming students?

I wanted to know if anyone knows of any Nurse Practitioner(NP) Programs, mainly FNP, in NYC that are less than two years, or that can be done online.

I am signed up to the 8 week NSC 834 Advanced Pathophysiology to start May 20th. I was wondering if anyone has taken this course in past year and if they have any advice on how to successfully attack this course load and remaining in 9 semesters of course work. I would appreciate any assistance or advice.

I am creating this chat for those that applied to CSULA's PMHNP program starting Fall 2026. We can keep people updated on the interview process coming up or relevant information that needs to be shared related to the program starting in August. 

Previous students are also welcome to share tips and expectations of the program before we start.

I already submitted for the March 2nd deadline! I'm excited to hear back. I also applied for NYU as well.

I have submitted my application and I'm just waiting to hear back! Haven't heard anything yet. I believe there will be an interview, but I wonder how it will be structured.

I haven't seen very many Sacred Heart University online FNP reviews. Spoke with an advisor and I like how the program is geared towards full-time working students. Any opinions?

I started the PMHNP program at STU in March 2026! I am currently in my second term. I have been reading a lot of scary things about this program. If anyone has details about the APEA tests, difficultly for the exit exam and what happens if it isn't passed?

Also if anyone that currently attends the PMHNP program at STU has a current group that shares information with each other about the classes etc. I would love to join it!

It's been a long time since I've been on here, so howdy everyone! I will be starting Herzing Psych NP Program this January. I haven't been in school in a while and my traditional BSN program did not require much writing. My writing skills kinda suck LOL. How is the writing, discussion posts, teachers, assignments, exam for the program at Herzing? I do come with over 5 years in psych experience and I am anxious to start. Anyone starting and would like to buddy up? Any current students? Is the program doable? Tips, suggestions? When should I start looking for preceptors?
