Stuck between RN& BSN

Please help

I am an international student, and currently living in Louisiana. I am planning to do my associates in nursing.But what i have heard and read is that international students can only get work permit if they have BSN .. Is it true ?

with ADN you can if lucky find employer willing to go green card route (immigrant) however H1b requires BSN and is classed as a specialist visa so experience is usually required

Generally as a International student in any country it is expected to return to your own country after graduating. US is one of the hardest to get into
