i just recently got over yet another sinus infection this year, the fifth one at that! I've also had the flu twice and frequently feel tired and yucky. I've been on antibiotics recently too, amoxicillin. Now I have allergy symptoms, i hope not another cold cause that will mean a sinus infection, yuck. Anyway, my tonsils are still enlarged slightly, the one has this yellow cyst on it and i have lumps at the back of my throat which i'm is caused by the lymph tissue there. i don't really have a fever, i do have allergies but take claritin. my throat is mostly sore in the morning and manageable as the day goes on. i only notice slight discomfort with swallowing. i've been trying to eat healthy, take vitamins, and drink water to keep myself well. But with being a nursing student and nurse aide it seems like i'm going to keep getting sick for a good while. Anyone hear of this problem and does it necessarily mean a trip to the doctor. mom thinks since i've been sick recently that there just might be a little left behind and that it will clear up.

Yes, this could run its course.
You need to see your primary care physician if you are concerned.

If you've been going to the same doctor for the other problems, maybe you need to get a second opinion.
