Stock medications

Our district is looking into having stock epinephrine and stock albuterol available. If you have this in your district, have you noticed a decline in parents providing pens and inhalers for the student.

We keep stock epinephrine. I don't advertise it, so I don't think the parents are aware.

no - I can only recall one parent that felt as though they didn't have to do anything other than tell me their child now needed an epipen. I sent them the allergy action plan and they did nothing with it, telling me that I had the schools that I could use. I told them it doesn't work that way. Oddly enough, the allergy was never verified by a doctor and never mentioned again by the parent. I documented it all
