im a grduate of BSN here in the phil,and still im just wondering do i still need to take a local board here?or i can go directly to get nclex exam in states?do thay still required for local board?i have my tourist visa already and planning to go to NY to take NCLEX exam.and also is there any exam i had to take?

If you have not applied for the CVS that is required for NY, please do not even consider going to NY to test for NCLEX exam. You are talking months from now.
Please read the "Primer" at the top of this forum.
And no, the loval exam is not required.
thanks for ur reply, anyway in applying in CVS it u have to fill up the application form with a license numbr and stuff, does dis mean i should take the local board?and u sais that it is not a requirements?im sorry im just confused pls help me
CVS does not require a local license, NY does not require a local license. They do not write two different applications for the CVS. If you have not taken the local board, you do not put a license number there. If you have taken one, then you put the number there.
Same thing with the Visa Screen Certificate applciation.
The only thing that requires the local license is the CGFNS exam.
