before the dreaded CPNE. I know everyone says "think positive" ect.. but I don't know that I'm READY for the CPNE.. ever.. Since I failed my last test, it kind of knocked me down a level and I want to continue but I'm scared of failing again! Ok whine over. My husband can't take much more of me complaining so I came here to vent to those who would understand:p

Honey, I failed the CPNE on Thursday and as soon as my status changed Monday morning I resubmitted and all of my stuff has been accepted.
Do it. If you fall down again pick yourself up, dust yourself, off, start all over again.

Boy, are you my twin sister in cyberspace? I just failed my last test HD:2. I'm currently studying HD:1, and find myself slacking on my studying. I set a detailed study schedule, and am 3 days behind. It is nerve racking to me. I am scared of setting a date for this exam, for fear of failing. I completely understand how you feel. What test are you studying for? When will u take your next exam? I'm trying not to think of the last test, but it's a constant reminder whenever I begin studying. I'm not eligible 'til july 24 to retake it. I hope to have HD1&3, under my belt by then. HD2 will be my last(I hope).

One of my favorite quotes is "Our success lies not in never falling, but in rising each time we fall." :) This whole process is nerve-wracking, and scary. *hugs* But you can do this! Look at all the success you've had so far. Take it one test at a time ... the CPNE will be a ways off for you, and there are lots and lots of things that will help you prepare. I promise!!

Change and Fatcat,
I totally feel where you are at. I failed 2 test! (HD2 and Transitions)but I jumped back on the horse and took them over as soon as I was eligible. It took 6 months and 24 days and now I am finished with all my exams.I Just paid for the CPNE. I am going to take two days off and then its full speed ahead until I pass this thing.
Come on guys you CAN AND WILL DO IT! Fatcat I'll call you this week to get the ball rolling.
One of the biggest motivators for pressing on was that I knew if I finished all my exams, I would become CPNE eligible before taking the FCCA's. They will be working on it this summer and it will come out Fall 08'. I knew that if I pressed on, that I would not have to be one of the FIRST to take the test. I want them to get all the kinks out before they make an example out of me!
So now LET's get busy.My motivation scripture is:
" I CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Phillipians 4:13.
I would say it to myself every time I wanted to stop.Best wishes to you both. Now hurry up and complete those last 3 test. Nothing is harder than HD2. HD3 is hard but pretty straight forward. I need some study buddies for the CPNE!

Fatcat: I failed HD 2 so I need to retake that, and HD 1 and 3 as well...
It doesn't help that I'm dealing with an insane amount of "life" stress right now either and one of those stressors is money.. if only it grew on trees...
Update I paid for another exam and plan on taking it by months end. Thanks for the push I needed! Oh and I called EC and asked them why a certain course wasn't accepted for credit and they said it was an oversight and I don't have to take it!
Double hurrah!
I am going to schedule hd1 the last wk of june. good luck.
