Hi everyone,
I am finally applying this Friday after 2 1/2 years of school! I will have all of my pre and co reqs done after this semester and have a 3.5gpa. I have done well in school (all A's and B's), wonderful reference letters, but really did poor on the math section on the teas. I scored well in all the other areas (above the national average). I have never been strong in math and with most of the problems in the form of story-book problems...... I am at a community college. Anyone else with this experience? Thanks for the input.

I also scored low in the math section because I didn't keep track of the time, so I had about 15 questions left when the time ran out… oops! I had an 83.5 overall but a 66.7 in Math, and I was just recently accepted at my first choice school (diploma program)! I'm not sure what your exact scores are exactly, but if they were similar to mine I wouldn't worry too much. I had a slightly lower overall GPA than you, but I had A's in both Chem and AP1 courses that I had taken last semester. I also have a B.S. degree in Finance, which probably gave me a slight advantage.
I would think that you still have a good shot if your overall TEAS score was decent.
Best of luck to you!! :heartbeat :heartbeat
