Hello everyone I must admit I am slightly freaking out at the moment.... I have a Cardiology 3 littmann . I am now re reading my packet for my first clinical that starts Tuesday :/ and it says I have to have a stethoscope that has a bell and diaphragm. Does the littmann 3 have that? I am under the impression that it has a diaphragm and a pediatric side.... I notice on the box it says pediatric side easily converts to a traditional bell. How do I do this and where do I buy the parts? I am so confused and our clinical instructor is no help what so ever!
Help please :/

Yes it has both. It has to do with how hard you press. On both the adult and the pediatric side, by just placing the stethoscope on the skin will give you the diaphragm and with firm pressure will give you the bell. See page 2 on these instructions.

do you happen to know the directions in which you replace the pediatric side to the traditional bell by simply replacing the diaphragm with the nonchill bell sleeve included
with the stethoscope.
I can't quite figure out how to get it apart to replace it and I don't want to break it :/

Look on page 4 of the link. The diaphragm part comes off and then the bell goes on that area.

They are pretty durable so don't be afraid.
