NCLEX as soon after you graduate as possible??? Just curious if anyone has any idea? OH and KY require ALL you graduation paperwork/transcripts etc...AND KY makes you find an intenrship and work 120hrs after you take and pass NCLEX BEFORE they will give you your license (due to all the RN schools around here its next to IMPOSSIBLE to find a place willing to take you)...since i plan on working on post anyway i can use ANY state license so just curious if anyone knew any states that maybe just need an official transcript or letter from EC to get registered and take the NCLEX as soon as possible...thanks all!- Know i'm jumping the gun a little but hubby and i are trying to make plans for our next duty station and i want to have my license IN HAND before we move from here possibly by next xmas =)

As of Juy 2010, Florida is really easy for EC students to license in. It took less then 2 weeks to get my ATT. Minium paperwork! You can also apply online, just Google FL BON.

Whew! Thanks for posting! Although, the MN State Board of Nursing actually recommended Excelsior to me, every time I read stuff like what Tasha posted, it makes me nervous!

Try North Carolina also. I have some friends there who completed the program and I know they are part of the compact so it may be easy to endorse to your home state :-)

PA has no problems with program.
I think maybe i should have been more specific! =) I meant which state requires the LEAST amount of info from EC once i complete the CPNE in order to become eligible to take the NCLEX? To get the ATT to test?
tasha,
like from the link i provided, it looks like minnesota does not need you to graduate first before they let you take the nclex. new jersey is the same. i took the board before my conferral date and my bon just needed the "letter of qualifications" from ec then they will issue you the att.
are you done will all your exams and just waiting for the cpne?
