after 7 short weeks,we graduated yesterday! yay! and although this course is quite simple,I just want to share that I am very proud of myself,like I have said before,until now I hadn't been in school for 24 yrs.... well I graduated with the american redcross(which is amazing) anyway at the end of the ceremony they said we are gonna do something we have never done before....we have a student that needs to have an honorary award .....outstanding achievment award for the highest grade point average(99.75) yay it was me! lol... I was so embarrased and happy!( i'm very shy,in a crowd) but now I have the big state boards TUESDAY DEC.23RD! SHEESH I AM NERVOUS! PLEASE WISH ME LUCK:yeah:

OMG! someone please tell me what ya'll do for severe"stage" fright? I really need some relaxing ideas,lol I'm not kidding,I know I know these skills,but when I know someone is watching me I just freak out,and shake really bad,I am afraid the shaking will screw me up.......any suggestions? I actually wish I had a valium or something,lol! I know thats rediculous,but its just how I get:banghead:

visual helps
pick one person to focus on
use them as the only eye contact
and ignore the rest
look at their nose or face
take deep breaths in the nose out the mouth
slowly
and take your time if you are allowed to
I shake too, don't worry about it! I think I posted this before but the girl with me asked for oxygen durring hers, so its cool. Say the steps out loud, think of it not as test but as a real patient do your best and you'll be fine :)
