Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me what the starting pay is for a RN in Waycross, GA. I emailed the recruiter, but she didnt answer my question. I didnt want to seem rude either, by asking again. I am going to move there when I graduate and begin working, but I need to know that info to assist in making plans for the move. (financial) Thank you. :):):) The hospital is Satilla Regional Medical Center.

I have a friend that is an RN at the hospital there she said they start out from 24 - 28 an hour
they do if the nurse has 20 years hospital experience will start at 24.65
as a satilla employee the pay is ok; but the nurse to patient ratio is not the best and they is a lot of politics involved in being an employee there;

This topic may have gone stale, but I'm looking at Satilla and wondered if anyone had anything to say about the working conditions: everything from starting pay for new grads to orientation and mentoring as well as the ever important nurse to patient ratios.
Thanks,

Hey guys. I just came to answers the question. Base pay for a new grad nurse is 19.57. The shift differentials are as follows:
3-11 2.50
11-7 3.50
Weekend 2.00
I start working there on the 21st of Jan as New grad nurse. Let me know if you have anymore questions. :)

Congratulations! I think I've decided not to pursue it. But keep us posted!
Hey there. I actually am not going to be taking the position at this time anymore due to time and unforeseen occurrences. But if I decide to go that route, I will keep you posted.
