Starting Salary for LPNs

I'm a new grad and I was hired by a nursing home per diem for $19 an hour. Well, I have an interview on Thursday for another facility for full-time and I looking for at least $18 an hour for full-time. I think that's a fair rate. However, some facilities are paying as little as $16 an hour. What has been your experience, and please, recommend as many facilities as possible that are paying good starting salaries in Miami or Broward. Thanks :)

:p Sorry I don't live in that area of Florida. I just wanted to remind you that sometimes fulltime jobs pay less because you'll get benefits. If you don't need the benefits then you shoul go prn for the extra money. Best of luck to ya.:)

If you are starting off at $18.00 full time with benefits as a new grad you are doing good. I live & work in the Florida Keys & have been a LPN for 15 years & the starting pay down here is $15.00 full time with benefits at both the LTC & Hospitals. Maybe I should move!!
