Hi everyone!
Im starting Palomars nursing program this Fall 2011. I was looking to talk to someone who has taken or is in the program currently. I hear that the math in the first few weeks is intense. So I wanted to get some advice and helpful hints and get started early :)
Also, is anyone in the program that has kids? If so hows that going? How are you managing?
Also wondering about the schedule? Is it M-F?
Thanks so much for any input!!!

Hi,
I also may be starting in the Fall. Were you in the orientation meeting today? I was wondering the same exact thing. We don't have family in town and I have an 8 month old, so I really want to figure out the schedule and everything. Any other info that you find out, please pass it my way. Also, do you live close to the school? We live in near Sea World and I don't think I can stand the commute, so we're looking for other places to live, but I'm not familiar with North County. ;-(
Hello! Yes, I was there yesterday. That was pretty intense I thought :) ... I left there completley overwhelmed! I know its going to be hard, but sheesh! So I am going to start buying my books asap. I want to get through the entire math book before starting the program. Yeah, living so far with such a young baby might be hard for sure. You said you might be starting in Fall? Are they waiting for someone to drop to let you know?
