Hi All!
I am starting an LPN program in 2 weeks and I am super nervous. I have no idea what to expect. What are some things I should have to make this program run more smoothly? Any advice is appreciated :)

It might feel like it is really difficult at times, but go to your classes, read the material before hand (if possible) so that you can ask questions during lecture, be the first in line to do any of the procedures and find a good study partner or two.
Best of luck to you in the program. It will be exciting, frustrating and exhausting...but it will all be worth it!

Get books yet? Read them if possible. What I'am doing and have done to make sure the program goes smoothly is exercising, reading about a chapter a day and talking with friends and family about any anxietys iam having. Good luck!! And dont QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i havent even gotten into school as yet, but i just wanted to wish you the best in your studies keep telling yourself that you can do it... im sorta in the same boat as you b/c im nervous and have anxiety etc.. lol only difference i havent even gotten into a school as yet... and im very doubtful but when i feel the negative thoughts or feeling like i cant do i try to remember to keep on pushing through with anything including the program... hopefully we both will be success stories.. stay focused and let nothing stop you! ;)

I read all the required books ahead of time. Really cut down on my anxiety and I felt very familiar with the material during lectures.
Relax and enjoy school. You can have a really positive experience if you want to!!:balloons:
