Starting ecpi in Raleigh

Published

Hello I'm hoping to start ecpi before the end of the year I could not make the Aug 22 class in Raleigh but would like to get feedback from everyone who has been there.

Why ECPI if you don't mind me asking? When I thought it was the end of the road, I considered it, but after looking at the price and looking at what jobs look for and from "where", I changed my mind and decided on Wake Tech for the RN program. I submitted my application back in May for acceptance into the Spring 2017 clinicals.

Because its only a year and that what works for me i can always do the bridge to get my RN later.

Specializes in orthopedic/trauma, Informatics, diabetes.

There may be transfer credit issues. You may have to do an entire ADN program. I looked into miller-motte and something told me not do do it. I went to JoCo comm college and got my ADN. If it gets you working faster and you can transfer credits....

I graduated from ecpi in 2012. If I could do it all over, I would have went to a community college. The credits will not transfer and if you want to bridge later to the RN, you have to take all of the prereqs over again. Also its so expensive you will be strapped with huge student loan payments. In my opinion I would only go to ECPI if it were my last resort!!
