please HELPPP
I finished Nursing school in 2012 and I could not study after that.
I'm very lost and don't know where I should start studying since its been a long time.
thank you

You first need to find out if you are still eligible to take the exam in your state after so long a time. The Board of Nursing will have that information .
they said yes but may need an online course for that before exam, i had a permission to test from them but did not take the test at all

I am sailing in the same boat... I graduated 6 years ago and had no clue where to start..Someone recommended Saunders and it was a great help as I really needed to go through the entire course to refresh myself.I took my exam and failed but I was near passing so I am planning to take it again and hopefully will pass it this time.I am looking for a study partner online so lemme know if you wanna study together...

If I were you I'd do an in depth, comprehensive review with the Saunders NCLEX prep book and then purchase the Kaplan q-bank to start getting the feel for what NCLEX questions are like. Saunders is to the point, structured nicely, user friendly book and a down right great review from head to toe. If you need any links to these study materials let me know.
I would think you'd also want to get some textbooks and read them, taking notes as if you were studying for class again. Just answering questions is not enough. Your long gap without applying the material to the clinical environment means you need much more than practice NCLEX-style questions.
sorry for the late reply,
can you please tell me what Saunders you used?
I wish I can study with you but I'm leaving to study in a different part of the world.
thanks
Thank you so much for the help,
would it be possible to specifically tell me what these materials are specifically.

In addition to Saunders, I've heard Hurst is also content based. Kaplan would be best in analyzing the questions NCLEX gives you. UWorld is similar to Kaplan (and cheaper) as well as gives more detailed explanations.
I personally think if you're wanting to get a little bit of both, to check out NCSBN. This site is created by those who make the NCLEX!
thank you for comment...
I have been away from studying for a long time i'm thinking I need contents before the question study..
