In my school we only have standing orders to carry and for an RN employed by the School for non patient specific epinephrine in case of anaphylaxis. It looks like other schools have more details and lengthy standing orders.
If you do can you list what you have Standing Orders for? I would love to discuss some of these ideas with our School Dr.
thanks!

OTC medication standing orders (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, bendaryl, etc). But it can vary by state if you have these types of standing orders.

EpiPens, Oxysure use, Aspirin for adult staff incase of chest pain, and random OTC first aid stuff (contact lens solution, caladryl, saline eye drops, bactine, H2o2 etc). We can give Tylenol, Motrin, benadryl, Tums, cough drops without doctors prescription (parents must supply) all other OTC medications must have doctors prescription/note.
