Hi. So i just got accepted to the Spring 2019 semester at St Pauls. I wanted to know what the process was like from here going foward. Like how long do you have to do the drug screen and paperwork from your doctor and anything else? I have my financial aid appnt this week but just wanted to have a little info. Does all of this paperwork come before the meeting with the President? So its not a full acceptance yet? Thanks in advance

Congrats to you Valerie!

I haven't applied yet, but hoping to do so soon. I've just been putting spson in the search feature and reading every thread I possibly can about the process and how to be prepared. How was the testing portion for you? And which site were you accepted to?

I've also been reading that not everyone gets interviewed by the President. But be prepared to be asked what you offer to the program, why you're interested in the program and what your goals are. Essentially job interview questions.

it seems the admissions process might be a little different for certain people. I met with the president prior to being accepted. I started my financial aid package maybe two weeks before meeting him and then right after I met with him they just verified that I had everything in place. Once I was called and notified I was accepted they sent me an email detailing the next steps. I had to pick a date for orientation and I had to return to finalize the financial aid package. The day I returned to finalize it I had to meet with admissions first. There they gave me the paperwork for my background check and drug exam and told me when to have my medical stuff in by (you can upload that into the same website as the background check once you receive it). They also informed me about obtaining my cpr and let me know what days they were offering it. I'm returning today to finish financial aid and sign up for that class. I attend orientation next week.

I applied to staten island campus. I thought the testing was easy, but i did go to the tutoring sessions for tbe Math and English which i felt helped me a great deal esp with the Math. I got a call from my admissions rep saying i was accepted and i have my financial aid appnt set for next week. So im guessing after that they will probably give me all the info on drug screen and background check. Also i am guessing after thats complete ill meet with the president but I am not worried. I cant wait to get to that part with orentation and to finally start! Which campus are you applying for?

The testing wasnt bad at all. I went to the tutoring they offered which really gets you prepared for the HESI exam. I did have to re take the math because i scored a 78% first try and u have to pass with an 80% but i was allowed to re take the exam the following week

I'll be attending the Queens campus.
