The exam is not extremely difficult, and no it is not computerized. Everything is on pen and paper. Pretty much all of the questions are the kind where it's either you know it or not. Stock knowledge. The hardest part would probably be finishing all the question on time. Hope this helps!
thanks archer9 , it helps a lot. if you dont mine me asking, when did you take it? and how long does it take to get the scores back? is the math part of the test like the one in the study guide? i know right , so much questions!!!

Hi guys,
do you know how much is a tuition for the school and what is it Associate in Science Degree, with a major in Nursing? is it like RN or LPN or BS? Is it a good school in general?
Thank you for your time
well the tuition went up, so it is about 39 thousand. the program is a RN. and yes it is a good school from what i know.

When did you get an application for Fall 2010? I inquired about applications for next fall a couple of weeks ago and she said they weren't being sent out until after the holidays..

I just got into the program to begin Jan 2010. Ive come to see that they dont just look at the Math skills because I didnt do well either time I applied. They look at your character the day of the test, test taking skills, test score, transcript and essay. If they are impressed they will invite you for an interview. If you go on the interview you better reallllly want to be a nurse because they are good judges of who is BS'ing.
I did bad my first test, tried again and didnt do much better. However my transcript shows I do well with Science, Physics and Health. My essay made me cry so spend time putting your heart soul and passion for nursing into it. Buy the NET book $40, get a tutor and go online look up Practice Net exams. The day of your exam treat it like a job interview they are watching and they are on the commitee in which will be deciding if you get in.
This is what I did different from my first application, I prayed hard when I paid and dropped of my application, I prayed during the NET exam I made sure to smile and speak to all on the day of the test, I got a tutor, I poured my soul out in my essay, I took the practice exam online atleast 100 times and I filled myself with confidence!! Sounds simple but hey it worked and now my dreams are slowly but surely coming true. Good luck to all who reallllllllllly want this. You can do it just show your determination and dont give up. It can take 2 to 4 applications before being accepted!

My advice to you is, find another nursing school. St. Paul's is the most unorganized school i've ever been to. They dont care about the students, their motto is "you need to be flexible." However, they do not bend for you. The cirriculum changes from semester to semester. I wish you luck but be aware. ST. PAULS= TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!
