St. Joseph - Carondelet

Published

Hi guys, I just got a job offer for a new grad neuro icu at St.Joseph in Tucson. Going to next week for physical and sign some papers. Looking for feed back with the company and some general tips with the field as well so I can start reviewing.

It is funny that I found this post. I was just hired as a new grad RN in the medical ICU at St. Joe's. I worked for St. Mary's (also owned by Carondelet/Tenet) as a tech before getting the job at St. Joe's. I have heard good things about Joes from some and bad things from others but I personally believe that Carondelet is a good company. Curious, what do you think about the contract? Let me know if it is alright to PM you.

Thanks

contract seems standard. I am curious on the new grad program itself. When are you starting? I'm starting on the 24th.

Awesome!! I just started my orientation at St. Joes this week. The orientation was four days and I have my first real shift with a preceptor tomorrow. I don't know if the neuro icu is different but they tell me I am getting 12 shifts with a preceptor and then 4 weeks of podding. I'll let you know how it goes!

Specializes in MSICU.

Curious as to how you are liking it at St Joe's? And I think I remember that you were relocating... how's that going too? Are you liking Tucson?
