well, i worked sooo hard to get my first RN job at a prestigious hospital, and it turned out to really SUCK... in so many ways, as far as no preceptor, no real orientation, unfriendly environment, etc......
So what do you do with not much exp,?? not sure if i should apply for a new grad program or just a regular rn program or both.....??
any advice??

I think it wouldn't hurt to apply for both..since you've only had 5 months experience. If you were to interview at another place, just explain that the first place didn't work out and maybe you can request to be put in the new grad program. Worth a shot. Just out of curiosity- noticed you're "new to boston?" Which hospital did you work at? You can PM me the hospital for privacy if you want. Just curious.:)

so sorry it did not work out.......but do not worry nursing is a career where you can easily find work regardless of how long you were at your previous job. :):nurse:The hospital I now work at hires you as a new grad if you have less that 6 mos of experience.
