Hi everyone! I am starting this post to see who is planning to apply for Spring 2019 ADN / RN program at Forsyth Technical Community College. If you are, do you have all your pre-reqs completed? Or will you be taking summer classes? What is your anticipated total amount of points?

Based on previous years, it looks like the deadline will most likely be the week of 17 in September and MAR review conducted mid July - mid September depending on if you are taking classes in the summer or not. Also, the CNA will most likely need to be completed before November. It looks like in the past 3 years, the points range for accepted students in the Spring have been 144.3-193.3.

I'll start first, I will be taking A&P 2 this summer along with Art to work ahead towards BSN transfer credits. I plan to hopefully get into the CNA class during Aug-Oct time-frame along with completing my MAR review. I also plan to take HIST and MAT in the Fall to again work towards my BSN. This spring I am taking A&P 1, ENG 112, PSY 241 and after the summer semester I should be done with my pre-reqs.

Assuming I pass all my classes this spring and the summer, I should have 159.3-167.3 which includes my TEAS test. However, if I feel that it is not competitive enough, I am planning to retake my TEAS test to increase my points as I originally took it w/o appropriate study time nor taking any A&P.

Hi! I plan on applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program as well. I'm currently taking 1 summer class, so I will not be able to complete My MAR review & TEAS test just yet.I'm currently working as a CNA.

I am planning to apply for the Spring ADN program at FTCC however I am sort of a bad test taker and am terrified about taking the teas test. Any tips or words of wisdom?

Hello everyone! I am applying for the Spring 2019 too. I have competed my MAR and TEAS. I have 146 points as of now but, I will be retaking my TEAS next week to improve my score. What is everyone's current status?

Spring 2019 application cycle has officially closed as of yesterday! I can't wait to hear the results. So nervous and excited! I would love to hear from more applicants. My final points after retaking TEAS are 157.

I am SO excited for mid October when they send out the acceptance letters. I have 172 points and feel pretty confident that I am going to be accepted. I cant wait to start!!

Hi everyone, very exciting that we are in the process of receiving a letter of acceptance/denial/waitlist for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Forsyth Tech. Based on last year's post for the 2018 spring ADN program, it appears that the students received their letters Oct 6-8 timeframe so we should be checking the mail everyday! It also looks like they had about a week to accept or decline the seat so hopefully we have enough time to respond. Oh, yes and my final total points with the TEAS is 167.3.
