Hello,

I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!

I purchased the Critical Thinking (6th Edition) book from Amazon for $43.93 (HCC $61.80)

I purchased the Davis's Drug Guide (16th Edition) book from Amazon for $29.61 (HCC $52.65)

I purchased Nurse's Pocket Guide (15th Edition) book from Amazon for $35.97 (HCC $52.65)

@yrosabal I have not purchased the book bundle from the school as of yet. I'm hoping to make the purchase no later than Thursday.

When and for what class do we need these books for?

Don’t order the Strategies, Techniques, Approaches to Critical Thinking book. It comes in the package. The other two recommended books don’t come with the package, so I would order those from Amazon since they’re cheaper. I got the package today and with tax it’s $1195.00. It’s a heavy box!

So you ordered all the books from Amazon? Was it cheaper this way?

I only ordered the three “recommended” books from Amazon. I bought the package from HCC. But the Strategies book for Critical Thinking was included in the package, so I’m returning that one to Amazon.

I tried online but theres no option for it, so I have to go and do it in person. But we can only charge up to 650 from what i read for book charge ?
