Spring break- must be nice...

A fifth grade student came in my office today and says " I can't wait for spring break " ! She was telling me how she'll have the whole week to do nothing except play her Mario game on Wii. I was thinking to myself it must be nice to have to do nothing on spring break.

I on the other hand have lots to do ! Since I'm in nursing school I'll be working on my careplan, studying for my exam after spring break, and did I mention clinicals !!!! :rolleyes: I'll also be doing alot of wedding planning because I'm getting married in August. On top of everything else, I'll be running errands and doing things I can't do on a normal week day.

So what are your plans for spring break ? :flwrhrts:

We only get Good Friday, so it's not much of a break. It's more than I got when I worked in the hospital, though!

I keep offering my nursing services to families as they leave for Florida, Arizona, California, Mexico, Bahamas-- I think it would be a real benefit to them to bring a nurse along "just in case"!!

I just got back from Cambodia and Thailand. Few more days off and I'm back to the grind till summer.
