Recently got accepted into the program and was wondering if there’s anyone else here that has? Was also wondering if anyone has any insight into the program, when classes are, when the transition class starts, etc. Thanks!

Congratulations to you, I got accepted too, and I’m so excited ?, I don’t know what’s the next step is, but I’m assuming a mes”d dosage test??!

Hello I also got an acceptance email just wondering if when you guys replied to accept the spot if you guys receive a response? 
Yes we have dosage calc once we start I know someone who just finished program. I also did my LVN at swc !

I’m not too sure but I do know we only have 3 days total to do during the week some clinical can also be during the weekend

Congratulations everyone! I just wanted to send out my appreciation for commenting here about receiving a response after emailing the nursing department that you accept your spot in the program. It got me thinking that I never received a response after I sent my acceptance email. For some reason, they never got my email! I almost went into a full blown panic attack. Thank goodness I had proof of the email I sent, so they were able to figure it out and I was able to keep my spot!! So if you are like me and did not receive a response after sending out your acceptance email, I would definitely follow up.

The person I spoke to in the office also told me that they may not be having us do the dosage calculation test anymore. Not 100% sure on this.

I didn’t get a confirmation email either and also called to confirm I was so stressed as well . So it’s not like the previous dosage calc they had LVN doing before it’s a dosage calc exam within the first couple of weeks of the program is what I was told but also not sure since they’re changing stuff.

I wonder how many they I have accepted to the program this year, I remember on the information session, the lady mentioned that they won’t accept that many because of Covid issues, do you guys have an idea?
