Southern Institute of Technology

Calling all Kiwi nurses!!!

Has anyone done their BN at Southern Institute of Technology in Invercargill? If so, would you recommend this programme? Tuition is so cheap that I can't help but wonder if in this case do you get what you pay for? My other options are Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology, Otago Polytechnic, and NorthTec.

From my research the programme at SIT seems very legitimate and boasts an incredibly high pass rate for new grads taking the state final exam.

Any input appreciated :D

Cheers,

I've heard very good things about the Dunedin program. I'm told that the North tech program is brillaint, puts students right into acute care from day one, unlike most other programs that the first year is exclusively elder care.
