Hello.
We at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk, VA, are presently in the beginning phases of creating a clinical advancement program for nurses (clinical ladder). In so doing, we are interested in finding out any supportive evidence for obtaining such a program, as far as nurse retention, recruitment, increased satisfaction scores or money saved. If your institution has such a program, could you share the following?
1) Type of program, theory or model used?
2) How long you have had the program?
3) What % of your RNs take part in the program and are at each level?
4) Are you a Magnet institution or on the journey?
5) Any evidence you can share to support your programs outcomes? Costs vs. benefits?
Thanks for your time and wisdom.
Sincerely
