Soon to be a new grad needs advice...

Posted

Hello Everyone,

I'm graduating in July from an LPN program :yeah:. I need to know how soon can I apply for an LPN position? Can I go on interviews while still in school or do I have to wait until I pass the NCLEX? Also, what goes on a resume if you have no medical experience, I've worked in an office while in school. Thanks for your help.

i'm curious too - any answers out there?

I'm not really sure, but I'd say as soon as possible, so you can at least secure itself.

Call the facilities you are interested in working at once you graduate and find out how they go about hiring nurses. Some facilities let you work as a CNA until you pass your boards, other facilities insist that you have your licence first.

Call and find out.

Good luck
