i have a social security number when i lived in the us for 8 years in the past but i haven't been in the states for at least 8 years now and have lost my immigrant status because i didn't go back there. will i be able to use my ssn later on if i wanna be a nurse in the us?

SSN is yours for life even if you leave the US.
