Who is starting spring semester in the nursing program?? I just started last semester but I spent a lot of time in this forum before then. I love seeing all the new excited eager students!!!!

Anyway, to those starting soon CONGRATULATIONS and stay positive and eager and excited and it will make your first semester go so much better!!!!!!

I start next month as well! It's amazing how the time is flying by so quickly. I can't wait until January 11th. I started my pre-reqs in August of 2008 and by the end of this semester I will have managed to complete all but one of my co-reqs. I am trying to mentally prepare myself for the first day. I have worked so hard to get accepted, so I just have to remind myself to keep it up and work just as hard to graduate. Even though I am a little nervous about my first day, I am still so excited and anxious to start. Good luck to everyone!

I'm starting in Jan also...we havent gotten anything about orientation or anything, but school starts the 21st...can't wait. I found out in Sept that I got accepted so this semester has been a long one...I wanna get started already!!!!

The short story is the school I got into is a lottery and I was picked on my first try there, within a year of finishing my prerequisites. It will be just short of two years from finishing the prerequisites and all of my general education for the Associate degree (plus all but two lower division BSN classes for later). I'm not nervous, just looking to get in and get started. I'm a midwife and looking forward to learning some new stuff about other parts of life and death!

That is awesome!

I always remember how excited I was and so I get excited for everyone else just getting started. Some kids at school will come up and ask questions on days that we have to wear scrubs to school, which the last few weeks has pretty much been every day, anyway they will be glowing talking about the nursing program and how they are about to start or should be starting next semester and I can't help but be so excited for them.
