Im so disappointed and upset. I really thought I was going to get in and to make matters worse the cut off point for the ADN program was 185 points, and I had 178 points. I was so close:/ I just feel like a failure. And my fall classes won't count for my spring application, so im gonna take AP2 again and try to get an A cause that will give me 10 more points. :(:(:(:(:(

I'm sorry to hear that you were so close. Are there other nursing schools in your area you can apply to as well to increase your odds for next year?

Only one other! But im going to apply for RN and LPN.

 Sorry to hear this... Figured you could use a hug.

It's okay I applied for the first time and got denied, but I won't give up I'm applying to way more this fall for spring & fall of next year, you just have to keep positive and have faith because if you think those negative thoughts it won't help! :) We'll make it!

Keep your chin up! I was three spots away from the waitlist for a school this spring. After 2 rejections earlier in the year, this almost killed me. Then in April i got an acceptance letter for fall. Dont stop applying! it can happen!

Thanks everyone for the support! Its much needed! No one in my family including my family or my fiance really know how I feel! next semester im applying at two other schools even if there's not a chance I'll get in it! This time I put all my eggs in one basket! Im also gonna apply for lpn and RN! Once again thanks gor the understanding and support!:)

Sorry for the typos im on my phone! Lol.

Sorry to hear that... Take it from me, I think everyone get denied at some point. I applied to four different nursing programs and 2006, and got denied by all. After that I decide to go get my BS in Health Services and I am working on my Master in Public Health. In feb, of this year I decided to apply again and just recieve my acceptance letter for nursing school. It takes time, but dont give up. FYI, my sister was also denied with a 3.8 GPA

I didn't make it in when I applied last year. (was a few points short!) I spent the year improving my stats and I'm happy to say I was accepted this time.

Keep your head up and use this time as wisely as possible! You'll make it!
