Sneezing coughing yep it's back

I love my job , right now we are seeing a lot of uri clear nasal drainage, associated cough afebrile illness. I explain to parents it's viral best thing is supportive fluids suction the nose out avoid smoke exposure. Etc etc they leave go to the ER they start them on abx for a viral uri back in my office with diarrhea from the abx. Yep going to be a long fall

Do you give them supportive care for the diarrhea?

People are so stupid.
