I will be starting SJ Delta College in January 2010. I am so excited and anxious at the same time. Sometimes reading these boards can be a little overwhelming and scary. But I am trying to remember that each person is different and we will all have our own little journey. I would love to hear from fellow SJD nursing students, current or new. Any advice would also be great! Thanks!

The formula to get into the nursing program just changed and it's much easier to understand than before. I suggest you take a gander at that from the schools website if you haven't already. The only thing i would worry about are human physiology teachers, they're all known for being incredibly difficult. 80% fail rate or something like that :stone Overall it's an okay school.
Recommended Professors:
I recently had these professors, they're easy to understand and genuinely care and strive for their students to pass. goodluck! , now time to study for physiology:banghead:

Good luck in your physiology class. That was by far the hardest class I have ever taken! I should clarify that I got accepted into and will be starting the ADN program Jan 2010 at San Joaquin Delta College. :nuke:

Hi, I'm planning on applying to the SJ Delta program when I'm done with the pre-reqs. Congratulations on starting your program. Can I ask what your ranking score was? I asked the office if they were posting stat information, but they said no. I know the criteria will change yet again for next fall 2010 applicants, but it is nice to get a general sense of things. I like the new multi-screening criteria, but wonder how much it will change by the time I apply.
Did you take your pre-reqs at Delta? I took Chem there, but plan to take my pre-reqs in Sacramento.
