I wondered if you'd been toking a little or drinking a little mushroom tea! Put on those rose-colored glasses, and it all looks really good! It sure would be nice for us, and our patients, if those kinds of things would happen!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh...the essence of being able to dream one's thoughts into reality! When will that day come to pass where nursing is concerned? How about NEVER! :chuckle

Wow, I thought this may be a thread that had an article addressing that maybe one state or hospital recognized the importance of nurses and the positive outcomes the patients receive from that care. But, then I did just get off work. I think it could happen if all the nurses in the country would unite with an organized and strong voice. MHO.

That is sweeeeeet Tom, we have a "Coperate" charity golf tournament, $1000 a foursome. Won't be playing in that one, ever.

As for as what Cascadiens said, it'll happen when they build a new bridge from Buffalo to Fort Erie, Build the Casino, build anything usable besides and empty strip mall, build anything with out sombody pissen an moaning about it. In other workds, never.

The census is low, and people talk of nurse shortages, and i worked diligently to get into nursing school.

What about a "patient shortage?" iF THE NUMBERS of patients start dropping off, there will be too many nurses, and folks will be sent home w/o $$$ or worse. It's okay to encourage folks to be patients, right?

teeituptom; I played golf for the first time in my life last Sunday :)

These things will happen when we rise up and overthrow the reign of the evil suits...vive la resistance! ;)
