where can one find the most recent information with respect to current sign-on bonuses for the reserve nurse components of each branch? i've had no luck with google or bing. i am finally starting to get things together and want to be as educated as possible before meeting with a healthcare recruiter.

thanks to all who have been so forthcoming with previous experiences - good and bad, tips, suggestions, and just about any information regarding your individual branches. it is most appreciated and extremely helpful to those of us who are not in the know. i have spent hours reading many posts on here, full of worthwhile information.

[color=#a0522d]thanks in advance for any info you may have, and more importantly, thanks for your service to our great country.

any air force or navy reserve rn sign-on info out there?

I just received a Navy Nurse Corps recruitment packet in the mail today which said current sign-on bonuses are from $20,000-30,000 and you can get up to $40,000 to help pay off nursing school loans. However, the fine print in the letter said these are just estimates---you aren't guaranteed the full amount. You'd need to talk to a recruiter to get a more personalized picture of what you'd qualify for.

I hope this is allowed here. -If you want to find your closest Navy recruiter you can call 1-800-USA-NAVY and they'll find it for you.

And here's the Navy Nurse Corps website: http://www.navy.com/healthcareopportunities/nursecorps/
