NP vs. DNP

Hey guys!

I'm in nursing school and I'm thinking of studying to be a Neonatal nurse for my masters. I was just wondering, what is the difference between a Nurse Practioner and a Doctor of Nurse Practice? In the sense of work ethics, responsibilities, salary, etc.

I know you need a MSN to get into the DNP program, so let's talk about the interesting stuff :)

how many years of experience do I need to get into a neonatal MSN program?

Do you think it's worth getting a DNP?

What is the curriculum in a DNP program? What do we learn? Is it more research?

Lastly, how many years is a DNP program? And generally how many years of experience as a NP do we need?

Also, just out of curiosity, if you don't mind mentioning, at what age did you start your masters in nursing career?
