I went on an "interview " for peds HH. I have no experience in HH so I have a quick question. First, I put interview in quotations because it really was not an interview. I filled out paper work, took an exam and was given information about the case.
I was told that the family wants to conduct a phone interview and then orientation would start. I was told the family would be calling me, haven't heard anything yet. Should I call the family or should I wait it out and call the agency in the AM if I don't hear from the family ? Thanks for your advice.
Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

If you were told the family would contact you, I would wait for them to do so, then call the agency. You don't want to "pressure" them by calling at an inconvenient time. Allow them to remain in control of this process. They might think you don't follow instructions if you jump the gun. Any other time, I would say to initiate the call yourself.
Thanks so much ! If I don't hear from them today I will call the agency to follow up. I felt very uncomfortable calling the family anyway. One person told me the family would call me and another person told me I can call the family, which caused me so much confusion.
Thanks again !!!
I've been told the same. The agency wanted me to call the family and I felt uncomfortable doing so.
