shadyside school of nursing questions

I have decided to apply to shadyside school of nursing but am having some trouble getting information off of their site. Does anyone know when their programs start? I want to go full time, not weekend/nights. When are the deadlines? I guess I fill out a registration form to take the PSB exam first, right? But I cant find the form anywhere either. Does anyone know where these things can be found. I would like to know when their next two programs start so I can decide which one to apply for. Thanks

HI,

They have a new semester start every 8 weeks for daylight and every 16 weeks for evenings. The new semester just started this week.

You can call the school and they can get you any information you would need.

I just graduated from Shadyside so let me know if you need anything

Hi! You can print the PSB form right off of the school website......however, it has been down all day. The next full time class starts in February, and to start then, you would apply now. The class that would start after that would be next September, so that would give you alot more time. I am in my second year at Shadyside and I love it. The instructors are really great and very challenging. If I can help you in any other way, let me know!

thank you both so much for the help. I actually emailed natalie from Shadyside but she told me to just keep checking the website. She wouldn't give me an answer as to when the programs start so your answers were a huge help. Now I know how to plan for it. If I have any more questions, which I'm sure I will, I know where to go. Thanks again. I'll keep checking the website to see if its up so I can get the applications.

I was having trouble getting to their website lately. Somebody posted this link in a different thread that seems to work.

The daylight program graduates two classes per year. One in June and one in December. The programs are 22 months long.

The June graduation class starts right around now, end of Aug or beginning of Sept. The December graduation class starts around the end of February.

The shadyside nursing website was at one point having some technical issues. I contacted Natalie and she sent me a folder of all the info so I would just call the school and tell them your interested and they will send you out that folder. Good Luck!
