Shadowing an FNP in the east bay/SF?

hi everyone!

I'm just wrapping up my pre-nursing requirements in the east bay and I'm really hoping that I could shadow a FNP, as I am planning on applying to masters entry nursing programs.

I already volunteer at a hospital, which will allow me to do clinical rotations at the end of volunteering 100 hours in the gift shop, but I think it would be really valuable to shadow an FNP in a clinic as well, since that's the setting I'm most interested in working in. I don't know any people who are currently FNPs (although I know a few students) Do y'all have any suggestions? Have you ever cold called a place and asked to shadow folks?

Do you mind if I ask what hospital you are volunteering at? Or at least what city it is in?
