I'm a 4th year senior in nursing school to get my BSN and become an RN. I'm currently at a job that needs LPN experience and I was wondering if even though I have not graduated yet, that is not til may, can I take a test and then become an LPN if I pass to do this job? Is that all it takes to become an LPN is the certification even though I am in nursing school now and already have 3 1/2 years behind me?

Every state has different guidelines about sitting for your NCLEX-PN during your school course for RN. You will need to go online to the Board of Nursing for your state to determine if this is allowed.
Hope this helped.
