Select-All-That-Apply-?'s

Published

Just wondering if the select all that apply questions are considered "high level" questions? If you get 3 or more of these on your exam is it generally a good sign?

I've been reading peoples threads and some get them on their exam and some don't. Can anyone comment about their experience and if they passed or failed? Thanks.

it is very hard to predict. Really the only thing you can do is wait for your results

In my case it did not matter because I failed at 80?'s and recieved about 6 or more select all that apply. I was told during sylvia rayfield reviews that it signified doing well..well I was only above passing in one area when I got my fail results back from nclex...good luck though.

I had one select-all-that-apply, and passed with 75 questions.

NCLEX questions seems to come in cycles. I had two pharm questions, two peds and NO obstetrics - as did classmates who took it the same week. Friends who took it after me said they had about 30 med questions (out of 75) and a bunch of peds & OB.

I think what they say is true - there is no way to predict how you did. While I knew it was unlikely that I failed, I felt as though I guessed on at least half of the questions I got!

I got all 265 questions and about 7-8 select all that apply q's! I hate those types of questions. I'm not good at them and I'm hoping that they are a sign of doing good on the exam or else I'm in trouble! I had a bunch of everything; priority, teaching, meds, 2 calculations, equipment malfunction, delegation and the list goes on! I just hope I pass! :)
