I am so excited! I was accepted to Seattle U, got it in the mail today! Anyone else out there that got in too? Anyone going there now that has advice? :D

Congrats twinkletoes!!!! Will that be your choice - or holding out for another school?

... i love their campus...btw

Congratulations! :)

I missed their app deadline... I had a heckuva fight getting all my out of state transcripts up here in time.

You're waiting to hear back from UW too, right?

When do you have to respond to the acceptance?

Congratulations and good luck!

Congrats! I was accepted too! :)

Congrats twinkletoes12 and orangegirl13!

I was accepted too :D

Happy dance for all of us!

Thanks everyone! Yes, I'm still waiting to hear from Univ. of WA and I also applied to some community colleges, but Seattle U and UW are my top two choices. Deadline to reply is May 1st and I'll know by then if UW is a go or not. If it is, then there will be a very hard decision to make between the two schools!

Congrats orangegirl and jeomoz! I remember being on the campus... and seeing the cherry trees.. it was awesome! Later i realized that Cisco gardens there... that explains it! I love that campus!

I forgot to say congrats to orangegirl and jeomoz! So sorry. :( Maybe I'll be seeing you on camps in September! Yes, their campus is gorgeous and in a great location too!

I was accepted too! I'm hoping I will be able to afford their tuition. I am going to the accepted student's open house on April 18th, is anyone else going?

Congrats Mnstn! Did you get info on the open house in your acceptance package or via email? I haven't heard anything. Did you apply to the BSN program or the APNI program? My program begins in June.

Yeah, tuition is an issue. I called the financial aid office and they said they begin processing new student financial aid apps in May. Anyone hear anything else?

Either way, I'm making this happen. I guess I better stock up on ramen :p

Specializes in Pediatrics, Neurology, Public Health Education.

I received an email regarding their open house programs. There is one on April 4th and one on April 18th. When you received your acceptance packet there should have been a student email assigned to you. If you check that there may be an email about the open houses.

I am doing the BSN program and plan to start in the fall (I think September?)

Financial aid is the main reason I am not sure I can go to Seattle even though its my dream school at this point! They gave me a small scholarship (and anything helps) but its not enough. I am currently in the process of begging family members for loans/donations.
