I start nursing school this fall. I know I will have to wear white scrubs. I am not a small gal. (Size 18) horrified of ill fitting scrubs that are going to make my rear look even bigger or have that low crotch that feels like it will split every time I move. Any brands or suggestions by some with more experience would be awesome.

Your school probably has a uniform requirement and you will have to use theirs.

it might depend on the school. My nursing school the top you had to buy from the school (it had their logo embroider on it and what not) the pants you could get anything you want (as long as they were the right color)
Id first check with your school, and then once you know id recommend just going to a scrub store and trying them on.
I know some brands a medium fits me fine, and others a medium can be HUGE on me. Then others dont fit right etc. So trying them on is your best bet. Also scrubs are sometimes unisex (and if they arent you could always just buy mens scrub bottoms if you need to) so the size thing shouldnt be an issue.

Dickies by far are the best fitting for me. I think you will probably need to get the school logo from some other scrubs and see them on, but check with the school first. You be be surprised that the scrubs they offer may fit fine. Good luck!
The letter from the school I got last week said 2 scrub uniforms, white (your choice)

I'm plus sized (much bigger than you) and wear Cherokee brand.

Don't buy Wonderwink. I bought a whole bunch of them when there was a sale. Even on a size that should be generous on me according to their sizing charts, the pants have skin tight thighs in a material with no give at all. I'm terrified they're going to rip open every time I move.
Agree! Wonder wink sucks!

Wonder Wink scrubs suck. I tried them on and the top was so tight (a plus size top) I couldn't get it past my boobs and I am not busty at all. I find Dickies Gen Flex fit well. I get a mens top though because the shoulders are wide enough for me. The pants fit me fine (I am about a 20-22 and wear a xxl pant and they fit fine).
You should go and try some on at the local scrub shop. That way you will have a real idea of how well they fit.
I am so glad you guys told me about wonder wink I had actually looked at them on amazon. Any experience with Koi?

I am plus size and I LOVE my WonderWink, but then again everyone has different body types. I don't care for Koi, they seems to be more trim cut. I like my cherokee and dickies ones as well
